Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Employment Type: Contract (FTE highly preferred)
Licensure/Certifications: Minnesota medical license or IMLC required
Paid sick leave, in accordance with applicable laws
Licensure, certification, travel, and related reimbursements when applicable
What You ll Do:
Manage outpatient oncology patient care, including new diagnoses, treatment planning, and ongoing management
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive therapies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiology, surgery, and pathology
Document clinical encounters and ensure charting completion within 24 hours
Support infusion clinic activities and coordinate follow-up care
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and patient education
Assist with potential telehealth consultations and palliative care as needed
What You Need:
Minnesota medical license or IMLC
Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology
2+ years of outpatient oncology experience preferred
Strong clinical skills in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
About the Assignment: This opportunity is with a leading facility in New Ulm, Minnesota, a vibrant community offering a friendly atmosphere and excellent quality of life. The practice is outpatient-focused with dedicated support staff, including LPNs, RNs, and soon additional APP support. You ll have access to advanced imaging, laboratory, and infusion services, enabling comprehensive patient care. The provider will serve as a key community oncology resource, building lasting relationships while practicing in a system-supported environment. Credentialing is expected to take approximately 90-120 days, with potential for emergency privileges for an earlier start.
