- No. of Beds in Deprtment: 274 (Hospiat bed size)
- Specialty Backup Available: 1 NP & 1 Virtual Hmatologist
- Support Staff Available: PA/NPs: 1
- Reason for Coverge: Full-time Coverge Need
- Hospitl Prvileges Required: Yes (Chambersurg & Waybesoro)
- Temporary Prvileges Available: Yes (for urgent needs)
- Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (Standard)
- Chemotherapy administration
- Immunotherapy administration
- IVIG, IV Iron, and Non-chemotherapy injections
- Port access (supervision)
- Radiation oncology coordination
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC)
- Board: Double Boarded preferred (BC/BE)
- Experience: Less experienced providers considered, experienced physicians in practice
- Other Qualifications: Fellowship required
- Provide outpatient hematology/oncology consultations and follow-up care.
- Provide inpatient/ER consultation and patient care guidance for Hematology/Oncology.
- Supervise infusion center treatments (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG).
- Participate in call rotation (1 week/month), managing weekend and night call.
- Participate in tumor board and coordinate radiation oncology referrals.
