Medicus has partnered with a leading hospital in eastern West Virginia that has an exclusive opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of obstetric and emergent gynecologic care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. About the Opportunity: Schedule: 24-hour shifts Level III NICU, delivering as early as 25 weeks Patient Volume: 80-100 deliveries per month, 1,800 OB ED visits annually Comfortability with GYN ED cases, including laparoscopic and ectopic pregnancies, is preferred but not required Support Staff: Midwives and family medicine OB on backup call, MFM onsite, in-house anesthesia EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, hike through a scenic nature preserve, shop and dine in a charming downtown area, and enjoy a close proximity to large metropolitan areas, including Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.
