Quick Facts: Location: 416 Connable Avenue, Petoskey, MI 49770 Start Date: 08/15/2026 End Date: 12/31/2026 Shift: Mon Fri, 8 hours of patient care + up to 6 hours clinic, plus night call Weekend Call: 24-hour coverage (2 hours gratis) Hours/Week: 40+ hours (varies with call and clinic) Employment Type: Locum Tenens Licensure/Certifications: Active OB/GYN license in Michigan, Board-certified Experience: At least 2 years in OB/GYN practice, including prenatal, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBAC Patient Load: 6 8 outpatient visits/day, approximately 1.5 deliveries/day Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay (rate discussed upon application) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time and paid orientation Referral bonuses & travel/reimbursement benefits when applicable What You ll Do: Provide OB/GYN outpatient care, including prenatal management and routine visits Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBACs as needed Support patients throughout pregnancy and postpartum periods Cover night and weekend call, ensuring continuous patient coverage Collaborate with support staff, including NPs, to deliver quality care Document patient encounters in Cerner EHR system Follow hospital protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulations What You Need: Valid Michigan OB/GYN license and current Board certification Minimum 2 years of obstetric and gynecologic practice experience Strong clinical skills in prenatal care, deliveries, and cesarean sections Ability to work flexible hours and handle call responsibilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This opportunity is with a leading healthcare provider in Petoskey, Michigan, offering a supportive environment with experienced support staff, modern EHR technology, and structured scheduling.
