"OB/GYNAssignment Details Location: Paducah, Kentucky Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based Coverage: Ongoing Coverage Needed: 67 shifts per month with potential for additional shifts 13 providers neededCompensation:24 Hour On Call - $1630 per 24 hoursCall Back - $340/hrSchedule 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM7:00 AM) In-house and beeper/phone call coverage EMTALA call coverage Midwives provide daily call coverage and deliver their own patientsClinical Details Adult patient population 100% inpatient Average Patient Volume: 16 patients per day EMR: Epic Onsite laboratory and ultrasound Labor & Delivery hospital setting Nursery Level II Approximately 700800 deliveries annually Approximately 140190 Labor & Delivery triage visits per month Low volume of Cesarean section patientsRequired Procedures Routine vaginal deliveries Operative vaginal deliveries (low forceps) Clinical decision-making for Cesarean sections Management of complicated deliveries, including breech, multiple gestation, and placental abruption VBAC management Repair of 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerationsRequirements Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology) Active Kentucky medical license or active IMLC BLS certification DEA requiredCredentialing Approximately 90 days Expedited credentialing available based on need"
