Neurology Locums Job in Michigan 24-Hour Coverage Beginning November 1, 2026 - Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details Beginning November 1, 2026 Ongoing Shift Details Clinic hours are 8:00 AM 4:30 PM with call coverage after hours Inpatient call is 24/7, starting and ending at 8:00 AM 24-hour weekend call coverage required Outpatient clinic hours during shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 1:00 PM 3:00 PM Inpatient call and after-hours call required Requirements Board Certified in Neurology Active Michigan license Provider must be local; no flights Active DEA confirmation BLS, ACLS Required Procedures / Skills Radiologic Exam Interpretation Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap) EEG Brain Death Examination Evoked Potentials Assignment Details 6-8 patients per day EMR: Cerner EEG reads performed for inpatient and outpatient cases as needed When there are no outpatients scheduled or not for the entire time, provider is expected to provide onsite hospital coverage Immunization records required for clearance from occupational health: Hep B, MMR, Varicella vaccine series or immune titer; Flu for current season; Covid documentation; TB within 12 months; TDAP within the last 10 years The Jackson and Coker Advantage: Join a team that prioritizes your peace of mind so you can focus on patient care.
