Facility in Detroit, MI seeking Neonatology locums coverageRates: $400/hrOpportunity HighlightsStart Date: May 10, 2026.Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (In-house night call).Confirmed Open Shifts:May: 10th, 24th, 26th.June: 2nd, 4th, 7th, 17th, 23rd, 25th, 26th, 27th.Onboarding: Temporary Privileges approved for urgent needs.Support Staff: Team of 3 full-time, 2 part-time, and 4 contingent neonatologists.EMR: Cerner / PowerChart.Clinical Scope & VolumeThe locum physician will provide high-acuity neonatal care, including delivery room attendance and neonatal stabilization.Patient Volume: Average of 12 patients per day.Admissions: 0 to 4 per day.Bed Size: 15-bed NICU.Responsibilities:Attendance at C-sections (Required).Neonatal transfers (Required).Note: Coverage of the Level I (Well-Baby) nursery is NOT required.Provider RequirementsResidency/Fellowship: Must be Fellowship-trained in Neonatology (Required).Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or true Board Eligible (BE) in Neonatology.Experience: Must be currently working (or have worked in the last 6 months) at a Level III or IV NICU (Required).Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) State License in hand (Required).Certifications: Active BLS, NRP, and ACLS (Required).Background: 100% Clean Background (Required).Submission Needs: NPDB Self-Query report pulled within 30 days.Statement of which specific open shifts the provider can commit to.Local providers only (Only mileage is reimbursed).Credentialing InformationStandard Timeframe: 90120 days.Expedited: Temporary privileges are available for local providers with clean files to meet the urgent May start.About WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparency
