Hospitalist position only one hour to New Orleans and 30 minutes to Gulfport MS which boasts some of America's best beaches. This is a 30 bed hospital with a 7 on / 7 off rotation. You will be the only MD with 1 APP and support staff on site. You will have to do ICU rounding but no procedures are required. Procedures will be managed by the ED and Anesthesia. The NP will usually have 9-10 patients and you do not have to sign off on their notes.7 on 7 off block schedule with flexibility. Dedicated nocturnists cover nights (virtual HM Physicians). Very competitive base salary with ample financial incentives. Average census of 12-14 patients. E-ICU intensivist support with open ICUs at the community hospitals. EPIC medical record system with remote access capabilities. Dedicated RN and Social Work Clinical Care Coordinators. Community based academic appointment.
