Acute Care RN Topeka, Kansas 26-Week Temporary Assignment

Licensure/Certs: Kansas state license or multistate license required; BLS and ACLS via AHA; all certifications due at submission
Experience: Acute care nursing experience; experience managing cardiac and anticoagulant drips preferred
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $60.30
Pay Package: Discussed upon application

What You ll Do
Initiate admission orders and complete admission documentation
Assess and document initial patient condition efficiently
Manage a variety of patient diagnoses in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Support rapid patient throughput with an average stay of 4 hours or less
Float to other units as needed within the department
Comply with hospital and unit-specific protocols, including holiday coverage
Use Epic EMR system to document patient care activities
What You Need
Valid Kansas state license or multistate license (no pending or hit licenses)
BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience or relevant specialty experience
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage time effectively
Strong clinical judgment and flexibility to support rapid patient throughput
