Acute Care RN Topeka, Kansas 26-Week Temporary Assignment

Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $60.30
  • Pay Package: Discussed upon application

What You ll Do
  • Initiate admission orders and complete admission documentation
  • Assess and document initial patient condition efficiently
  • Manage a variety of patient diagnoses in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
  • Support rapid patient throughput with an average stay of 4 hours or less
  • Float to other units as needed within the department
  • Comply with hospital and unit-specific protocols, including holiday coverage
  • Use Epic EMR system to document patient care activities
What You Need
  • Valid Kansas state license or multistate license (no pending or hit licenses)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience or relevant specialty experience
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and manage time effectively
  • Strong clinical judgment and flexibility to support rapid patient throughput
