Urgent Care Physician Georgia Schedule Start: ASAP End: Ongoing PRN shifts Shift options noted: 8 hour or 12 hour shifts, including 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Commitment: Minimum 6 to 8 shifts per month Travel and Lodging: Lodging offered for two or more consecutive days worked, and mileage reimbursement after 60 miles roundtrip as documented by the site Openings: 1 Position Overview Provide urgent care coverage across multiple outpatient clinic locations in a region as scheduled. Clinical Scope General urgent care visits Testing and imaging evaluation as available Suturing and procedure support as required 12 lead EKG reads and physicals as required Patient Volume and Ages Ages 2 and older Up to 4 patients per hour Site Details Provider works solo with medical assistant support, and some clinics may have RN or LPN support EMR: Experity Providers must be within 30 to 45 miles of the assigned center and willing to cover clinics within the region as scheduled Required Qualifications Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with pediatrics experience Urgent care experience required Board certification required Active Georgia license DEA required Benefits Malpractice insurance coverage Weekly electronic pay Refer and earn program: Earn $2,000 per referral.
