Job Description

Locums Internal Medicine Physician Preceptor Physician Need

Coverage Needed:
- ASAP-ongoing
- M-F-9am-5pm
- Will work in an IM resident driven Graduate Medical Education Ambulatory Clinic as a preceptor for ACGME Internal Medicine Residents
- Outpatient work only
Clinical Information:
- Physician will be responsible for precepting 4 residents in the morning and 4 in the afternoon
- The Ambulatory Clinic Medical Director, who is IM Residency trained and experienced physician will also be in the clinic while the per diem is working
- Must be proficient in routine outpatient procedures such as simple laceration, skin biopsies, arthrocentesis, simple i and D, ear irrigation and lavage.
- Will have 16 maximum residents in each class
- Faculty to resident ratio is no more then 1 in 4
- Permanent position is open
- EMR is EPIC
Required:
- Board Certified
- Will wait for someone to get license
- Must have 2 years experience
