Quick Facts Location: 1001 Sam Perry Boulevard, Fredericksburg, VA 22401 Start Date: 09/03/2026 Duration: Open-ended / ongoing placement Shift: Inpatient, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: W-2 Licensure/Certs: Virginia Medical License preferred Experience: Inpatient/Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please note, this is a placeholder; actual compensation details will be discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success What You ll Do Provide inpatient infectious disease care at Stafford Hospital and Mary Washington Healthcare Fredericksburg Manage new inpatient consults during scheduled hours Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Take call for new inpatient consults after hours (shift ends at 5 pm, with on-call provider taking over) Document and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare standards What You NeedRequired: Medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure Experience in internal medicine and infectious disease management Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred: Previous inpatient or hospital-based infectious disease experience Ability to handle complex cases with autonomy About the Assignment Join a prestigious hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where your expertise will directly influence inpatient care for diverse infectious disease cases.
