What You ll Do
Provide direct medical care to hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based care
Coordinate care plans and support smooth transitions of care
Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
Document patient encounters, care plans, and outcomes timely in the EMR
Respond to medical emergencies, including codes and rapid response situations
Participate in clinical rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Emergency Medicine physicians, nursing, respiratory therapy, and CRNAs
What You NeedRequired
MD or DO
Ability to provide care in a hospitalist setting with strong clinical judgment
Documentation and EMR proficiency (timely documentation required)
Preferred
Board certification (compensation may consider board certification; board status not explicitly required)
Experience supporting multidisciplinary inpatient care teams
