Quick Facts: Location: 50 Perry Street, Pontiac, MI 48342 Start Date: 09/14/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing / recruitment gap coverage Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Hours/Week: Approximately 24 hours Employment Type: Locum/Travel assignment License/Certs: Michigan medical license, Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years in outpatient hematology/oncology Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $0.00 (Rate includes orientation and on-call compensation; rate discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You ll Do: Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care at a satellite clinic in Pontiac, MI Manage an average of 15-20 patients per day, including consultations and follow-ups Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings Collaborate with support staff including RNs, MAs, social workers, dietitians, and nurse navigators Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and orders Cover clinic call as needed, with patient contact hours during call shifts Support infusion services and onsite diagnostics What You Need: Active Michigan medical license Board Certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology At least 2 years of outpatient hematology/oncology experience Strong clinical skills in adult outpatient care, tumor board participation, and EMR use Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment: Join a dedicated outpatient oncology and hematology clinic located in Pontiac, MI, offering a supportive clinical environment with modern facilities including infusion centers, onsite labs, and diagnostic imaging.
