We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 60-day assignment in Massachusetts, commencing on Oct 26, 2026. This role involves a flexible 4 or 5-day work week. The successful candidate will manage a diverse patient population with both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, while also providing care for benign hematology conditions. Responsibilities include sharing inpatient consultation service and night/weekend call. Responsibilities and Duties Share inpatient consultation service and night/weekend call equally Work a 4 or 5-day work week Treat both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including breast, lung, colon and rectal (GI), and prostate cancers Manage hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma Address benign hematology conditions including anemia and clotting disorders Handle new patient consults and follow-ups Additional Information Required Board Certifications: Hematology and Medical Oncology EMR: Epic Oncologists share inpatient consultation service and night/weekend call equally Typical shift hours are 8a-5p for regular workdays, with 7a-7a shifts for call coverage Patient caseload primarily consists of new patient consults and follow-ups The practice has a 40% hematology and 60% oncology patient mix Hospitalists admit patients Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
