This position is ideal for experienced OB/GYN physicians looking for flexible scheduling with a reputable facility. The facility is seeking additional OB/GYN providers to help fill an urgent need for call coverage. Starting in November 2024, the provider will be expected to cover 8 shifts per month, with the option for ongoing assignments.

• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing (First need starting November 2024)
• Assignment: 8 shifts per month
• Shift Type: 24-hour call, with 4 hours gratis (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.)
• Weekend Requirements: Yes, some weekend shifts may be required.
• Call Coverage: Yes, covering call for OB/GYN group across 2 sites.

• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient with clinic and emergency room duties.
• Call Duties: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care during 24-hour call shifts, including managing deliveries and performing general OB/GYN procedures.
• Required Procedures: General OB/GYN, including patient consults in the clinic, deliveries, and hospital-based procedures.
• Patient Load: Will vary based on clinic and hospital demands, but physicians should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
• Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant (MA) provided.

• Board Certification: OB/GYN (Board Certified required).
• Licensing: Must hold an active Utah state medical license.
• Certifications: BLS, DEA, PALS required at the time of credentialing.
• EMR System: Epic (EMR training modules must be completed prior to start).
• Training Requirements: Providers are required to complete virtual EMR training before their first shift to ensure familiarity with the system.

• Schedule: The assignment requires 8 shifts per month, with 24-hour on-call shifts across two different sites. This allows for flexibility while providing consistent coverage. Physicians will handle both inpatient and outpatient duties, including emergency room cases, general OB/GYN consults, and deliveries.
• EMR Training: Providers must complete mandatory training modules and a virtual training session for the facilitys EMR system before their first day to avoid delays.
• Reason for Coverage: The facility is in need of additional providers due to a current physician departing and another preparing for retirement.
