Clinical Details
- 2 locations
- 18-20 patients/shift
- Coverage for call & inpt consults, and a few outpt procedures.
- Only anticipate having to come in after hours for pt care rarely (food bollus) otherwise, hospitalists admit and consult GI for next day visit.
Requirements
- Board certified/eligible
- Active TN license or IMLC
- Fellowship preferred
Call
- Beeper
- 1:3 ratio
- Less than 10% call back
- 5-10 phone consults on avg per 24 hours
- 5 admissions on avg per 24 hours
Support Staff
- 1 RN
- 1 MA
- 1 NP/PA
- 1 office staff
EMR
- Cerner
