• Clinical Coverage:
  • Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
• Call Coverage:
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing expert consultation and treatment for gastroenterology cases.
• Patient Care:
  • Manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions and diseases.
  • Round on unassigned patients as needed.

• Board Certification: Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Fellowship: Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship is required.
• Licensing: Must hold an active medical license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Certifications Required:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Hospital Privileges: Required, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 45-60 days.
• Temporary Privileges: Not available.

• Consultation Role: The Gastroenterologist will consult on both inpatient and outpatient cases, providing specialized care in gastrointestinal diseases.
• Holidays: Coverage may be required during major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
• Practice Support: The position will be supported by a full team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment.
