This Gastroenterology Locum Tenens position is located in Southern California.Location: Near Los Angeles (Inquire for specific hospital)Specialty: GastroenterologyDuration: March 2026 December 2026 (Option to extend)Schedule: Monday, 7a Monday, 7a, 1-2 weeks per month (March start is a must)Shift: 7a-7aPatient contact: 7a-5p (inpatient procedures prioritize, if time is left in the day add scopes in the endo suite or clinic visits)Call: 24 call pagerScope of practice: Inpatient rounds, consults, procedures + clinic/endo suite if the hospital is slow>ERCP and EUS is a plusVolumes: (1-3) new consults per day, (1-2) procedures per day, outpatient/scopes TBD based on the hospital volumesEMR: EPICHospital: 60-63 beds to start (73 bed capability); 8 bed ICU (20 bed capacity); 8 ETC bedsGroup/support: CRNA/MD on call 24/7, 1 other GIRates: Competitive and negotiable ALL Accommodations, and Malpractice - PAID for locum opportunities Assistance with credentialing provided EXPEDITED in less than 30 days with clean file
