Job Details

• Building a team of 4 MD s and 4 Nurse Practitioners to inhabit what will be a brand new, 24 exam room, state of the art, facility.
• Physician-led practice
• OB Call = 1:6 with other FM/OB s
• Clinic and prenatal done in Grand Rapids. Deliveries are done at local Hospital; a modern, 20 bed, Critical Access Hospital, with 24/7 ER physician coverage and Nurse Triage.
• Hospitalist Coverage = 1 week every 6 weeks done in Deer River.
• Optional Opportunities: C-sections, ER work, colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests and EGD s.
• EPIC electronic medical record
• Visas candidates welcome
• Board certification in one's specialty is required within 5 years of completion of residency training to be eligible for clinical privileges.
• Must be Licensed by MN Board of Medicine and must possess valid narcotics registration (DEA number).
• OB Required C-sections, optional.
• The City of Grand Rapids, on the banks of the Mississippi River, is located approximately 80 miles northwest of Duluth and 175 miles north of the Minneapolis/St. Paul.
