Locum Tenens Family Medicine - Obstetrics Physician Needed

We are currently seeking a Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics experience for a locum tenens position in California, located near Lewiston. This is a unique opportunity to provide healthcare services in a rural community surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Family Medicine - Obstetrics
• Shift Type: 24 Hour (4 -10 hour clinic shifts per week, OB/pediatric on-call, 1:4 hospital coverage)
• Certification Requirements: ACLS, DEA, PALS (Required for pediatric call), Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Required)
• License Requirements: Active CA License (Required)

Job Description:

• Shift Type: 4 -10 hour shift in clinic per week, with OB/pediatric on-call and 1:4 hospital coverage.
• Inpatient and Outpatient Coverage: The provider will be responsible for both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Patient Population: Female patients of all adult ages, including pregnancies, well-women care, and GYN problems.
• Procedures: Handling C-sections, OB procedures, minor family practice procedures, and OB cases.

Additional Information:

• No in-house call, hotel call only.
• General Surgeon available for C-section closures.
• The locum will not be responsible for supervising healthcare providers.
