Quick Facts Location: 2817 New Pinery Road, Portage, WI 53901 Start Date: 09/03/2026 Shift: 6:00 AM 6:30 PM (Days) Duration: Ongoing through 2027 Hours/week: 36 hours Employment Type: Per Diem / Contract Licensure: Active Wisconsin Medical License (or eligibility) Experience: Prior Emergency Medicine experience preferred Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (details discussed upon application) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide high-quality emergency medical care to approximately patients daily in a combined ED/UC setting Collaborate with general surgery, orthopedics, and hospitalist teams to coordinate patient care Utilize Telestroke and Tele ICU services to support complex cases Work with a dedicated team in a facility with on-site UW helicopter and full diagnostic support Participate in ongoing coverage needs and patient management through 2027 What You Need Medical license in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain it Prior emergency medicine experience preferred Strong clinical skills in acute care and patient assessment Ability to collaborate effectively with specialty teams and support services About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Portage, Wisconsin, offering a dynamic emergency medicine environment with state-of-the-art support services.
