A healthcare organization in North Central Ohio is seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers flexible day, evening, and overnight shifts in a high-volume emergency department supported by specialty services and a collaborative clinical team.

• Contract: Three months
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
• Schedule: Flexible day, evening, and overnight shifts
• Call: None specified
• EMR: Epic (EMR training and one shadow shift required)

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with emergent medical conditions
• Manage trauma activations and critically ill patients
• Perform emergency stabilization and resuscitation
• Determine patient disposition, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Collaborate with consulting specialists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document patient care using Epic

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians must have at least two years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Active Ohio medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Three peer references required for credentialing
• Current credentialing documentation, including education, training, and licensure verification
• ABFM and ABIM physicians must maintain current ATLS certification
• Eligible for hospital credentialing
