Office Equipment Available: Standard ED equipment

Specialty Backup Available: Limited subspecialty support

Support Staff Available: 24-hour physician coverage with 2024 hours NP/PA coverage

Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General emergency medicine procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active NC license required

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine

DEA: Active NC DEA required

Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required (if not ABEM)

Experience: Recent graduates accepted

Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable with full-scope ED privileges

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency department care for all patient presentations

Manage patient care independently during shifts

Collaborate with NP/PA support staff

Coordinate care with available specialty services

Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
