Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-8:00 PM; Sat-Sun 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (transitioning to 12-hour shifts on weekends); no overtime; blocks of shifts preferred; weekdays and weekends Job Setting: Outpatient - Urgent Care Types of Cases: Urgent care visits including adults and pediatrics (ages 6+ months); 36-48 patients per shift; minor procedures including suturing/wound care, incision & draining, splinting; EKG and X-ray interpretation; no call required Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe is 120 days; interview with medical director required prior to confirmation; proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months required; no hospital/surgery center privileges required EMR System: Epic (Epic comfort a plus; training provided after credentialing and onboarding) Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible (if within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM), or Med/Peds; must be certified through American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Board (AOB); no other boards accepted Certifications: BLS required (must be current and issued directly from the American Heart Association) Licensure: Must be licensed in Missouri (MO); IMLC not accepted Training: Residency training in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds required; must be trained to see both adults and pediatrics Experience: Must demonstrate 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months correlating to privileges requested; comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), EKG and X-ray reading About VISTA Staffing A ClearlyRated Best of Staffing Client and Talent 10-Year Diamond Award winner, VISTA has 30 years of experience optimizing continuity of care for hospitals, medical practices and government agencies across the US.
