Quick Facts: Location: 805 South Oakland Street, Saint Johns, MI 48879 Start Date: 07/01/2026 Duration: Ongoing/As needed Shifts: Day and night shifts, approximately 8 shifts per month Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Hours per week: Variable Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Active Michigan Medical License; Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine Experience Required: Previous Emergency Medicine experience preferred Travel & Reimbursements: Travel, licensure, and certification reimbursements when applicable Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $273.00 per hour Pay Package: Paid weekly via direct deposit Benefits include: Comprehensive Medical Insurance (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team from VHS What You ll Do: Provide emergency care in a Level IV trauma center Respond to hospital codes and emergencies as needed Interpret EKGs and collaborate with cardiology for final reviews Supervise and provide oversight for APP during overlapping hours Manage patient stabilization and coordinate transfers for OB patients Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiology, laboratory, and specialists Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR What You Need: Current Michigan Medical License and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine Minimum of X years of ER experience Ability to handle a high-volume emergency department ( 13,800 annual visits) Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills Able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends About the Assignment: Join a well-equipped community hospital serving approximately 13,800 annual emergency visits in Saint Johns, MI.
