A healthcare organization in Central Georgia is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens Emergency Medicine assignment. - Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and emergent medical conditions
- Stabilize and manage emergency department patients across a broad range of clinical presentations
- Perform emergency procedures within credentialed scope of practice
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document clinical encounters in accordance with facility protocols
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- Active, unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license
- Active DEA registration with a Georgia address
- Board certification (AANP or ANCC for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current ATLS certification or approved trauma course equivalent
- Current TB screening documentation
- Seasonal influenza vaccination (when applicable)
- Clinical activity/case logs and CME documentation covering the previous two years
- Emergency Medicine experience preferred
- Eligible for hospital credentialing
