- Patient Volume/Census: 10-20 patients per day
- Case Mix: SICU, Trauma, General Surgery
- No. of Beds in Department: 10
- Trauma Level: Level I / Level II Trauma Center
- Specialty Backup Available: Acute Care Surgery, Trauma APP team
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 21-30 days
- Licenses: Active Arizona medical license, DEA, Universal License (IMLC)
- Board: BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ATLS
- Experience: Level I/II Trauma Center experience required
- Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Manage Surgical ICU patients.
- Provide care for trauma patients in the Step-Down Unit and on the floor.
- Respond to trauma activations.
- Work alongside the trauma APP team.
- Complete all documentation directly in the EMR.
