Our client in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment, beginning Jun 1, 2026. This full-time role involves daily inpatient rounding with an APP team for 10 hours on weekdays, and 24-hour weekend call coverage. The focus is exclusively on inpatient general cardiology, including CCU/ICU patients, with no outpatient clinic responsibilities. Responsibilities and Duties Perform inpatient rounding with the APP team Manage an average of 10 inpatient post-operative patients per day Provide care for general inpatient and CCU/ICU cases Cover full-time weekday shifts (10 hours) Provide weekend call coverage (24 hours) Manage cases including chest pain/ACS, heart failure, hypertension/dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation/other arrhythmias, and valve disease Perform preventive cardiology duties Provide post-procedure follow up Additional Information Required Board Certifications: Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiology EMR System: Epic Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
