Quick Facts Location: Portsmouth, Ohio Start Date: 08/22/2026 End Date/Duration: Multiple dates available (Aug 31-Sep 4, Sep 14-18, Sep 21-25) Shift: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday Friday Hours/week: Approximately 50 hours/week Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem License/Certs: Ohio Medical License (or eligible) Experience: Prior inpatient cardiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with law Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide inpatient cardiovascular care and rounding on assigned patients Conduct assessments and monitor cardiovascular status Coordinate with NPs to share patient load effectively Manage on-call duties during weekdays, with no weekend shifts Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and patient updates What You Need Ohio Medical License or eligibility to obtain one Prior inpatient cardiology or internal medicine experience preferred Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and teamwork abilities About the Assignment This position is with a leading facility in Portsmouth, Ohio, specializing in inpatient cardiovascular care.
