Quick Facts Location: 200 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, NC 28204 Start Date: 08/12/2026 End Date: 11/11/2026 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certifications: ARRT, BLS required Experience: Minimum 2 years in interventional radiology; neuro experience mandatory Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $68.33/hour Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You ll Do Perform advanced interventional radiology & special procedures, including angioplasty, embolization, and catheter placements Operate fluoroscopy equipment (GE Innova and Siemens Artis Biplane) Maintain equipment, PACS, and supplies Assist with complex neurological, vascular, genitourinary, and abdominal procedures Support room setup, sterile technique, and patient care during procedures Follow infection control standards and safety protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes What You Need Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology Neuro procedure experience is mandatory ARRT certification and BLS certification required Strong knowledge of fluoroscopy, sterile techniques, and vascular procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment This assignment is at a prominent hospital in Charlotte, NC, with a patient census of approximately 450 daily visits and well-defined procedures focused on stroke intervention, neurovascular, and complex vascular cases. The role involves day shifts, no float requirements, and participation in a call schedule with one weekend every 6-7 weeks. Orientation is 40 hours, and scrubless protocols (light blue scrubs) apply. Note: The start date is tentative and dependent on class and trainer availability. Travelers must be fully available from Wednesday to Friday of the first week to accommodate orientation and schedule changes.
