• Shift: Varied (Monday 7a - Friday 3p IP coverage; Friday 3p - Monday 7a weekend call; Call ratio 1:5)
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• On Call Requirements: Yes

Requirements:

• Board Certified
• Illinois state license
• COVID Vaccination
• Clean background for credentialing (Highly preferred)

Job Description:

• Supplemental coverage due to a high volume of OP/IP needs.
• Dates: 11/1/23 - TBD
• Schedule: Monday 7:00 am - Friday 3:00 pm (inpatient coverage)
• Call schedule: 1:5 (3:00 pm Friday - 7:00 am Monday)
• Average Number of Inpatient Admissions: 20-25
• Number of Cardiologists in Group: 8
• Other Cardiologists present during locum's coverage: Yes
• Patient Age Demographic: Adult
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Procedures Required: Echocardiography, Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
