Job Description

The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta is excited to invite an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary cardiovascular team. This unique position offers a chance to work at a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to the development of a future transplant program. As a regional referral center for advanced heart failure care, you will have the opportunity to innovate in clinical practice, expand care access in underserved areas, and play a key role in both research and teaching. This position also provides leadership growth and the ability to influence the heart failure program's development while maintaining a balance with patient care.

Position Highlights:

  • Opportunity to develop a future transplant program and lead in advanced heart failure care
  • Provide expertise in therapies such as VADs, ECMO, and pre/post-transplant care
  • Work in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team
