Physical Therapist - School Setting in Taunton, MA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Physical Therapy license and credentials for the state of Massachusetts (PT MA) required
• Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric healthcare preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, families, and school staff
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and advocating for their needs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to K-12 students, with a caseload of about 45
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs and student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support access to curriculum and school facilities
• Document student progress, adapt interventions as needed, and attend IEP meetings
• Serve as a resource for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to optimize student participation
