FOX is partnering with a well-established, physician-owned orthopedic and sports medicine practice to identify an experienced Physical Therapy Clinic Director. Job Summary

Responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the physical therapy clinic; plans and administers treatment plans designed to alleviate pain, restore function, prevent disabilities, and promote overall fitness and health of patients; performs administrative, supervisory, and advisory functions. Consults with and performs outreach to local companies to educate them on the benefits of the practice as their provider of choice. Acts as a liaison between PT and community employers, and is responsible for the growth and development of these services/programs. Acts as a liaison between staff and physicians to meet the needs of the customer.

Job Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee activities of the physical therapy department, including ensuring compliance with regulations of governmental and accrediting agencies
Provide skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and current standards of care by assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results
Assure continuation of the therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients; recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; and recommending follow-up programs
Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses, progress, and discharge summaries
Maintain patient records confidentially
Record treatment charges daily and complete charge tickets accurately and in a timely manner
Facilitate development of and monitor department mission, policies, procedures, and goals
Oversee the development/implementation of programs including post-offer testing, FCE, and pre-employment screening; conduct testing in accordance with standard practice and applicable laws
Model a high standard of teamwork, leadership, and professionalism; maintain patient confidentiality
Develop strategic planning and marketing activities to increase the practice's visibility in the community
Administer and comply with all company policies and procedures, including infection control and safety policies
Ensure billing and collections guidelines for department services are adhered to
Provide direction to Physical Therapists, Assistants, and Aides with patient care and related activities as requested
Ensure the department complies with the Georgia State Physical Therapy Act, codes, and regulations
Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times
Follow all company policies and procedures
Adhere to employer work practices as described in the applicable occupational bloodborne exposure plan
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management
Attend meetings as requested
Provide backup for administrative staff, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking in patients

Job Requirements

Master's degree in healthcare or a similar field
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
Current State of Georgia Physical Therapy license, or eligible to receive one
2 years' experience as a Physical Therapist
Current CPR certification for Health Care Providers
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures
Thorough knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
Ability to build trust with physicians and co-workers
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong sense of discretion and professionalism
