Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Technician at our MSK Monmouth location.

Role Overview:

• Compounding chemotherapy and supportive medication in a clean room setting(s) .

• Restocking supplies for the clean room

• Receiving and unpacking drug orders and supplies

• Perform Inventory management (ordering, receiving, stocking).

• Assist with pharmacy inspections.

• Adhere to State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures.

• Any other pharmacy operational task needed for patient care.

• Complete annual competency assessments.

• Triage phone calls with courtesy and promptness and refer to a pharmacist when applicable.

• Maintain pharmacy files and records.

Key Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of clinic/hospital experience preferred.

• PTCB or NHA Technician Certification ( CPhT ) required. NJ Registered Pharmacy Technician

• Although prior chemotherapy experience is not required, having strong IV compounding skills is beneficial.

• Known to deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.

• Resourceful and make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information.

• Able work well with others and is flexible to a variety of responsibilities.

Additional Information:

• Pharmacy Staff Operating Hours are : Monday -" Friday 7:00 am -8:30pm , Saturdays 7:30am-6:00pm

• Shift Details: This position is for evening shift with occasional rotation,"including possible Saturday coverage,"37.5 hours"per week. Flexibility is required to meet the"need"of the department.

Pay Range: $29.03 - $44.92
