Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Trial Preparation

Assist with the drafting, indexing, and reviewing of legal documents such as Pleadings and Motions

Drafting complaints, discovery, and e-Filing lawsuits for personal injury clients.

Scheduling and setting depositions, hearings, and mediation conferences.

Issuing subpoenas to witnesses for depositions and trial appearances.

Prepare and update case correspondence.

Assists with insurance claim settlements/negotiation.

Assist with mediation and depositions.

Update the Trial Works case/client database.

Assisting with discovery requests

Other administrative duties as assigned.

Conduct research to support legal proceedings.

Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents.

Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes.

Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Record and store client information and medical records

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paralegal in Personal Injury Law
• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Efficient in Microsoft Office
• Florida Registered Paralegal (not required)
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
