Per Diem Retail Pharmacist in New York, NY

This per diem position offers the opportunity to work as a retail pharmacist in an engaging environment based in New York, NY. The role involves working under the direct supervision of the manager to ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to all customers. You will be responsible for counseling and advising patients on their medications and regimens, providing expert guidance that promotes optimal health outcomes.

Schedule:

• PRN (as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions and regulations
• Ensure safe delivery of medications to all customers
• Provide counseling and advice to patients regarding their medication therapy and usage
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team and management to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in New York State
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Experience with Pioneer Rx highly preferred, enhancing familiarity with pharmacy systems and processes
