Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Derby, KS

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Holds or is eligible for SLP licensure/certification (CCC or CFY)
• Background in school, healthcare, or pediatric settings
• Familiarity with high school curriculum and adolescent development preferred

• Ability to address a variety of communication needs in students with mixed abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to high school students, primarily those in low incidence categorical classrooms
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments to inform treatment
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote carryover of communication strategies
• Maintain thorough documentation and complete required reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines
