Pediatric SLP Opportunity

A Nationally recognized non-profit network is seeking a full time Speech Language Pathologist to join their team in Camden, NJ. As Speech and Language Service Pathologist, you will assess and provide speech and language therapy for students at Camden, NJ school sites. You will focus on developing students' oral communication skills to support their ability to access their educational program. And you will report to the Director of Special Education.Speech Coach ExtraordinaireoProvide direct treatment to students with speech-language impairmentsoDevelop and implement educationally-based IEP communication goals using a variety of service delivery models to support the classroom curriculumoCreate donor and prospect profile documents in support of teammatesoConduct speech and language screeningsoFollow and implement treatment plansoCommunicate with families of students on assigned caseload regarding progress toward IEP goalsTeammate and CollaboratoroCollaborate with teachers to ensure that students meet the goals outlined in their IEPs;oProvide individualized classroom strategies to facilitate specific communication skills;oParticipate as a member of the child study teamOrganizational and Achievement GuruoDocument student progress towards meeting established goals and objectivesoParticipate in IEP meetings of students on assigned caseloadoConduct formal assessmentsMust Haves (ie. what you need to rock this role)oMaster's Degree from an ASHA accredited universityoCertificate of Clinical CompetencyoCertificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate (CFY)oKnowledge of speech-language report writingoKnowledge of formal speech-language assessmentsoFlexible and able to adapt to different school settings, procedures, and staffsoExcellent organizational and communication skillsoProfessional demeanor
