Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the physical therapy needs of pediatric patients.
Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Utilize therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance motor skills and mobility.
Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and families on exercises and activities to promote recovery.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Maintain a safe and welcoming therapy environment for children and their families.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid state license to practice physical therapy in South Carolina.
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Passion for helping children achieve their physical therapy goals.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
