Pediatric Ophthalmologist Locum Need

Coverage Dates

• Coverage needed up to eight weeks per year
• Specific coverage dates required
• Additional one day of coverage needed during:
• November
• December 28 January 1
• Day and weekend coverage needed

Schedule

• All coverage is onsite
• Ambulatory Tuesday: 8-hour shift
• Wednesday: PRN coverage if ROP treatment is needed
• Inpatient Wednesday: NICU rounding for ROP from 7a 1p
• Wednesday afternoon clinic if ROP treatment or follow-up is required

• Pediatric Ophthalmology
• Inpatient and ambulatory coverage
• NICU coverage
• Onsite coverage

Responsibilities

• Pediatric Ophthalmology coverage
• NICU rounding for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)
• ROP treatment and follow-up as needed
• Ambulatory clinic coverage
• Inpatient coverage
• Weekend coverage as needed

Procedures

• ROP evaluation and treatment
• Additional procedures: Refer to department-specific position details

Requirements

• Pediatric Ophthalmologist
• State License: FL

• Updated CV
• Signed attestation

Orientation

• Orientation capped at four hours
• Onsite hand hygiene demonstration required before first shift
• Employee health requirements must be completed before first shift
