Practice Details Setting:
Outpatient pediatric clinic within a critical access hospital environment General pediatrics: preventive care, chronic disease management, and sick visits
Department Focus:
Well child exams Acute and chronic condition management Common pediatric issues including asthma, diabetes, ADHD, and developmental concerns
Patient Volumes:
Goal volume: patients per day (ramp up expected due to new service line)
Support Staff:
1 MA or RN Front desk/administrative support
Hospital Size: Small critical access facility Credentialing Timeframe: Standard onboarding; no licensing assistance available
Clinical Scope
Comprehensive pediatric assessments Management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions Preventive care and well child visits Ordering and interpreting diagnostics Patient and family education Documentation and care coordination within Epic EMR
Requirements Role: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP PC or PNP AC) Board Certification: Required License: Must hold active Washington license (not willing to license) DEA: Required Experience:
Pediatric clinical experience required Comfort managing common outpatient pediatric conditions
Skills Required:
Independent outpatient pediatric practice Evaluation and management of both acute and chronic conditions High quality documentation in Epic EMR
Location Ilwaco, Washington Outpatient pediatric clinic within a regional critical access hospital; full time schedule with four 10 hour days and no call.
