Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH is partnering with a growing stable company that is a leader in their field looking to hire an Accountant to join their team. This role is Hybrid working in office 4 days a week and 1 day from home. About the Role: The Accountant will be responsible for general ledger and bank account reconciliations, quarterly distributions for investors, assisting with financial statements. This role requires a understanding of partnership accounting and, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger for partnerships.
Set up and manage investor information within the accounting system.
Prepare quarterly distributions for partnership investors.
Compile reports and workbooks for K-1 tax reporting.
Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
Maintain a working knowledge of limited partnership agreements and apply their terms to financial reporting, including income and expense allocations.
Provide support for other accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 1+ year of experience in accounting required.
Partnership Accounting or Oil and Gas experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of partnership accounting and GAAP accounting standards.
Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif, Index/match).
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
High attention to detail and ability to organize large amounts of data.
Pay range and compensation package: $70,000-80,000 + Bonus and exccellent benefits package and culture!
