Part time ToolMaker - Custom Fixtures

We are seeking a Part Time ToolMaker with custom fixtures experience to join a local manufacturing company in Franklin, WI

Pay: $30-40/HR

Description:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• Fixture fabrication

o Expertise in manufacturing custom fixtures for CNC machining, welding and assembly processes.

o Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.

o Skilled in precision machining techniques: milling, turning, grinding, and drilling.

o Understanding of dimensional accuracy and tolerance requirements.

o Knowledge of CNC Tool Room Vertical Mill with Siemens control a plus

Requirements of the job:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification or associates degree in Tool Making, machining or related field preferred

• Minimum 10 years' experience in fixture making with emphasis on CNC and welding fixtures

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T

• Able to run manual mills, lathes and grinders. CNC machine operation knowledge a plus.

• Working knowledge of metals and material grades, specifically carbon steel. Familiar with basic heat treatment processes

• Good organizational, verbal/written communication skills with attention to detail.
