<strong>PARAPROFESSIONAL</strong><br> <br> <strong>RCM is partnering with a North Suburban Therapeutic Day School seeking paraprofessionals for the school year.</strong><br> <br> <strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> <ul> <li>Paraprofessional will work in a special education classroom 1:1 and small groups. Students could be prK-HS aged with a variety of disabilities (cognitively, physically and emotionally. <li>Paraprofessional will work under the direction of the classroom teacher and support academic, social, and emotional learning. <li>Para may collect and record data, provide academic instruction and support, assist in classroom and individual student (behavior) management and other duties as assigned. </ul> <strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><strong> </strong> <ul> <li>Paraprofessional must have PEL (Professional Educator License): either a PEL (Para) or a PEL (SUB). <li>Prefer paraprofessional with school-based para experience. <li>Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire. </ul> <strong>COMPENSATION:</strong><strong> </strong> <ul> <li>Competitive salary and benefits available for those working 30 hrs/wk or more.
