An AmLaw law firm located in the Houston Galleria area is seeking a Paralegal Assistant to support its Health Care practice. This role is intentionally structured as a true hybrid-approximately 50% Legal Administrative Assistant and 50% litigation paralegal-and is critical to supporting a highly experienced, long-tenured team.

Pay is $36.00-$39.00/hour or $70,200 - $76,050/year (37.5 hours/week) DOE
Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance

Hybrid role after 90 days (work from home 2 days per week)

Daily collaboration with attorneys, Nurse Paralegals, and administrative staff

Requirements
4+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant and/or Litigation Paralegal
Assist two Nurse Paralegals by handling overflow work that is not medical in nature, including:
Legal research and due diligence
Drafting correspondence and legal documents
Scheduling, deadline tracking, and follow-up
Organizing and managing case materials
Draft, proofread, format, and compare legal and business documents
Accurately track and record billable time to meet annual requirements
