Role & Responsibilities:
As an Interventional Pain Management Physician, you will:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, including musculoskeletal, spine, and nerve-related pain
Perform advanced interventional procedures, including epidural injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, and other pain management techniques
Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as EMG (Electromyography) and NCS (Nerve Conduction Studies)
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and primary care providers to develop comprehensive, patient-centered treatment plans
Maintain high standards of clinical documentation in NextGen EMR and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines
Participate in continuing medical education, academic presentations, and professional society activities to stay current with advances in pain management and interventional techniques
Mentor and support junior providers, residents, or medical students as part of educational initiatives
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pain Management and Neurology, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or related specialty
Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship
Strong experience in interventional pain procedures, EMG, and NCS
Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient-centered care skills
Eligible for California medical licensure
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary: $350,000 $600,000, commensurate with experience
