Outside Sales Rep

Our client, a leading industrial distribution company, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be part of the Sales Department supporting existing and prospective customers across a defined territory. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Location: Kennewick, WA
Pay Range: $50,000 - $70,000/year + bonus

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers through phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Generate sales leads, follow up on referrals, and identify new business opportunities within the territory.
• Provide solution-based sales support and technical product recommendations for industrial applications.
• Conduct regular customer site visits and deliver presentations on products and services.
• Submit sales reports and communicate market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback.

• 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
• Knowledge of pipes, valves, fittings (PVF), and related industrial products and applications.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop and execute territory sales strategies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
