Outpatient Gynecologist (GYN) - Part Time/Full Time

Annual Salary: $180k-$300k (varies depending on years of experience)

Our client's outpatient center in Northern New Jersey is seeking a compassionate and experienced Gynecologist (GYN) to join their growing team. This role focuses exclusively on outpatient gynecologic care-no obstetrics, no deliveries, and no overnight hospital call. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered women's health services in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic care, including annual exams, preventive screenings, contraceptive counseling, fertility counseling, menopause management, and acute GYN visits.
• Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions such as abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, PCOS, endometriosis, infections, and perimenopausal symptoms.
• Perform in-office procedures such as Pap smears, colposcopy, biopsies, IUD/implant insertions and removals, endometrial biopsies, and minor gynecologic procedures (depending on candidate experience).
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic results.
• Provide patient education regarding reproductive health, lifestyle factors, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Work closely with primary care, behavioral health, and specialty providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, MAs, and administrative team to ensure efficient clinic flow and a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Adhere to all regulatory, quality, and safety standards in patient care.
• Participate in chart reviews, audits, and continuing education as required.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN).
• Active New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Strong clinical skills in outpatient GYN care and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive care.
